Welcome to my site. I have always loved drawing and making things. Most of all I love to doodle, letting my mind wander, drawing freely and spontaneously.
I first studied Fashion Design, which included shoe design as a subsidiary. I loved it, and I was hooked! I decided to do an MA in shoe design. On completion I worked for several companies in the UK and overseas. I also lectured on a BA footwear design course.

Before Covid I was teaching one day basic shoe making courses at my home. As I was unable to continue during Lockdown I started exploring other possibilities. I decided to experiment making my own shoe designs in paper. My first shoe was a paper sandal which I made entirely by hand. I realised I could use my IPad and Procreate’ App to draw my design ideas. Then I could convert my drawings into digital format to use my ‘Cricut Maker’ cutting machine. Above is a doodle of a hummingbird, then converting it to make the layers in ‘Procreate’. Finally , making the paper shoe on the right.
